Next Move is a fun 7 level English course done by Macmillan Education. It has a big emphasis on digital media, with videos, animations, phonics presentations, karaoke and more to assist teacher in giving a media-rich classroom experience.
The book series have been short listed for Best Use of Cross-Media in the 2013 edition of theBritish Book Design and Production Awards.
My role was to manage the digital design and assets of Next Move. This gave me the opportunity to be very hands on with the design of the 7 interactive DVD-roms that is sold with the Student Books. I was also responsible to design the teacher online portal. Additionally to the digital assets, I've also designed some print assets such as the resource packs, festival lessons, speaking tests, language files, presentation files and the Spelling Bee handbook.
